Please come out and make a difference in your community!

Please come out and make a difference in your community!  Join us on Wednesday, October 23rd  from 5 to 7 pm at the Boys and Girl Club  (1430 D Avenue, National City, CA 91950) for a neighborhood workshop hosted by the National City SMART Foundation Project.

The City needs your help identifying barriers and opportunities for pedestrian and bike access as well as help develop community-based projects that could benefit your neighborhood.  We encourage you to attend and invite your friends, family and neighbors!   Feel free to bring the kids too!

All workshop participants will be entered in a RAFFLE for a chance to win fun Halloween prizes --- so don’t miss out!   Light snacks and refreshments will be served.  Spanish translation will be available.

The National City SMART Foundation is working together with the Safe Routes to School Program to enhance awareness and pedestrian/bike safety, as well as improve and expand walking/biking opportunities in National City.

As we approach the home stretch on this effort, the community’s participation is more important than ever so please help us in getting the word out to your colleagues, family, friends and neighbors in National City.  B

y working together, we are sure to bring forth a project that bears the community’s best interest in mind.   For more details, please refer to the enclosed flyer.  S
