Happy Wellness Wednesday Red Devils!
Why Living a Life of Gratitude Can Make You Happy?
Just a few reasons: Because it reminds you of the positive things in your life. It makes you happy about the people in your life, whether they're loved ones or just a stranger you met who was kind to you in some ways. Gratitude helps us get rid of toxic emotions by anchoring us in everything that's positive in our lives.
Whatever your views and current circumstances, we can all agree the U.S. presidential election brings emotions on top of the already intense and complex circumstances many of us are in right now. Much is out of our control—but not all.
Here are a few tips for regaining a personal sense of empowerment over what is in our realm of influence:

Bioengineering & Life Science Offerings Winter 2021 - Now Accepting Applications!
The Pre-College Programs department with UC San Diego Extension invites high school students to participate in our programs so to gain better insight and experiences on a field of interest. We are excited to announce that we are offering two Research Scholars programs completely online this winter.
In partnership with Boz Institute, the Molecular Biology Research Immersion program strives to provide high school students with an advanced educational opportunity through research. The attached flyer is inviting your students to participate in a unique online research learning experience happening this winter. The program does come with a cost but we are excited to announce that we have a scholarship opportunity available! Links to our website and the scholarship application can all be found within the flyer.
UC San Diego’s Department of Bioengineering and UC San Diego Extension are pleased to announce course offerings that are based on fun, experiential, at-home, hands-on lab activities. We are now accepting applications for the BE-ROW, and BE-SHIP courses. A limited number of spots are available in each course in order to maintain a low student-instructor ratio. Please click here to apply as soon as possible and receive consideration for a spot in your desired program(s).
