San Diego Cal-SOAP and SUHSD will be co-hosting the Senior Year JumpStart College Access Conference at Hilltop High School on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 8:30 am to 12 noon. The conference attendees will learn about: university admissions, community colleges, private colleges, financial aid, scholarships, and more. MedReach at UCLA is pleased to invite high school students across California to our Healthcare seminar on May 20th, 2023 from 12 PM - 2 PM located on our very own UCLA campus. At this seminar, students will learn about various healthcare careers, participate in mock case studies to better understand the role of healthcare providers, and engage in fun activities to challenge their knowledge of medical terminology! Students will also have the opportunity to ask a panel of pre-health college students their questions regarding college applications, career choices, academics, and more! Additionally, MedReach is offering a mentorship program available to all students. High school students will be specifically paired with a pre-health college student as their mentor, to offer guidance curated to students’ academic, professional, and career goals. If interested, fill out the following form which will help our organization to pair you with the appropriate mentor. This program is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
