SAT/ACT Test Dates 2019-2020

Seniors,

Planning on applying to a 4-year university in October? If so, you should have already taken the SAT and/or ACT or be in the process of registering soon. Many schools will not accept scores for exams taken after November. Please see your counselor for more information!



Need a fee waiver?
Make sure to follow these steps before requesting one from your counselor.

Tomorrow, Thursday is session 4 of SUHi U Prep at 2:45PM

We'll be talking about the personal statements and essays you will have to write for your admissions applications. We'll share some examples to help you prepare.

Remember, if you are an active member of SUHi U Prep, you are eligible for the SUHi Scholar Graduation Sash.

SUHi U Prep Eligibility for SUHi Scholar Graduation Sash:
•Attendance of all 9 SUHi U Prep Sessions and complete online assignments
•Admittance to a 4-year university
•Submission of SUHi Foundation Scholarship application
•Intent to Enroll to a 4-year university submitted

If you missed a session, it's OK! Submit your assignments via our Google Classroom with code: plfsku0 and you are still eligible.

Class of 2019! Sweetwater University Prep is starting soon!

Sweetwater University Prep is starting AUGUST 9, after-school! 

Please help us spread the news to our SENIORS!


Counselors are available Monday through Wednesday after school to help ANY senior during college application season, but Thursdays are reserved to work intently with SUHI U Prep Seniors. SUHI U Prep students will optimize their chances in applying to colleges and universities around the nation through the core curriculum lessons they will receive. 

The Sweetwater High University Prep program’s goal is to support our students throughout the entire college application process. The expectation is that SUHI U Prep students will attend all sessions of the after-school week program which will include:

FALL

·                  College Research
·                  Complete UC, CSU, and Common Applications
·                  Personal Essay Writing Workshop
·                  Strategies for Letters of Recommendation
·                  Organize all important due dates
SPRING

·                  Complete FAFSA, Dream Act Applications, & CSS Profile
·                  Scholarship Support
·                  Final college choice and intent to enroll
·                  College Life Presentation Series with Guest Speakers
·                  University Housing support

It's year two of SUHI University Prep! We are off and running!

Congrats to SUHi U Prep Class of 2016!

Congratulations to our Sweetwater High University Prep Class of 2016! 

Our SUHI U Prep seniors have been dedicated to our 24 week program, which is in addition to the college and career services already offered by the counseling staff at Sweetwater High. 

The personalized, one-on-one counseling SUHI U Prep students have received supported the process of applying to many of the more prestigious college and universities in the nation.
