The purpose of the 22nd annual high school conference is to promote higher education, cultural awareness, positive Chicana/Latina role models, and self-determination to all high school students. It is our overall goal to motivate and empower low income, first generation college-bound and underrepresented students as well as equip them with the necessary tools to succeed in obtaining a high school diploma and achieve higher education. Our 22nd Annual Chicana/Latina High School Conference theme this year is “Concientizando Our Education: Decolonizing Our BodyMindSpirit, Creating Community, and Passing on Knowledge.”

The conference will be held in Montezuma Hall of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union at San Diego State on April 18th, 2015 from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
