San Diego’s high school
students and young adults are invited to attend the first annual Creative
Careers Expo, hosted by The Media Arts Center San Diego (MACSD) and San Diego
Latino Film Festival, in partnership with the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood
Innovation (JCNI) on Saturday, March 14. This free Expo is open to the public
and will take place at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center, Celebration Hall, 404
Euclid Street from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Expo will give San Diego’s diverse
populations of high school students and young adults the opportunity to learn
about essential skills needed in today’s creative industries. Attendees will
participate in creative conversations with industry leaders, workshops and
hands-on activities in the fields of advertising, design, theatre, culinary
arts, architecture, fashion and the visual arts.
