What is the EPT and the ELM?


What is the EPT and the ELM?

The EPT (English Placement Test) is designed to assess the level of reading and writing skills of entering undergraduate students so that they can be placed in appropriate courses.

The ELM (Entry Level Math) exam is designed to assess the skill levels of entering California State University students in the areas of mathematics typically covered in three years of rigorous college preparatory mathematics courses in high school.

3 or above on either the AP English Language or AP English Literature exam

3 or above on the AP Calculus AB, Calculus BC, or Statistics exam
EAP
Exempt or conditionally exempt and passed 12th grade honors or AP English class.
Exempt or conditionally exempt and passed 12th grade advance level math

San Diego’s award winning BE WiSE Program immerses girls in real world science & engineering experiences from the initial sleepover, through their high school years.

The BEWiSE program of the San Diego Science Alliance is accepting applications from 7th-8th grade girls, deadline January 30th!
