NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION WEEK is September 10–16, 2017

You can make a tremendous difference for yourself and those around you simply by being aware of the facts about suicide, learning how to shore up your mental health and resilience, making use of the suicide prevention resources available to you, and sharing them so more people know how to recognize the risks and warning signs of suicide, and can take action.

This week we will be sharing ways you can help yourself, friends, and family who need help.

4 Crucial Tips on the Ending of DACA

The DACA program allows undocumented immigrants who arrived in the U.S. as minors to apply for a renewable two-year work permit and shields them from deportation. The outcome of this decision may have a significant impact on our students who have relied on the DACA program as a temporary solution to their immigration status.

Our students have the right to attend school without the fear of detention and/or deportation.

The counseling center is a safe space on our campus for our community who may be experiencing trauma and various emotions can receive support and resources.

Our friends at http://studentswithoutlimits.org/ have been a great help to our students and their families.
