Wellness Wednesday: Gratitude

Happy Wellness Wednesday Red Devils!

Today, we continue with January's theme of saying thank you and expressing gratitude since January is National Thank You Month.

Today, we are thankful to our Sweetwater High community who have been supportive and encouraging of each other during the pandemic. So many of you have offered a lending hand, a thoughtful ear, and even a shoulder to cry on. These kind gestures have helped us through this past year. For that, we are very grateful.

We all need someone to talk to, someone who listens, and someone who understands. Your Sweetwater High School Counselors are here for you. We are just an email, video chat, or phone call away. Click here to find our contact info.

Self-Care Tip:
Think about the “greatest gift in your life right now”. Write about it in your gratitude journal, your phone calendar, or your smartphone notes app.

Kindness Challenge:
Write a letter of appreciation to your parents/guardians.

Virtual Wellness Room

Please visit our Virtual Wellness Room to take a break from your online classes. Do some breathing exercises, stretch, or play a game. It's OK to take a time out in the middle of the day for a "brain break".
