July Health Tips

From your friendly, neighborhood Health Teacher!

The sun’s UV rays reach you all day, increasing your risk for wrinkles, age spots, and skin cancer.  To protect your skin, always apply sun block before going outdoors (SPF 15 or higher).  Add a broad-brimmed hat, 100% UV sunglasses, and long-sleeved clothes.  More tips for healthy skin include eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, getting enough sleep, and drinking lots of water.

Have a great day!
