difference in your community! Join us on Wednesday, October 23rd from
5 to 7 pm at the Boys and Girl Club (1430 D Avenue,
National City, CA 91950) for a neighborhood workshop hosted by the National
City SMART Foundation Project.
The City needs your help
identifying barriers and
opportunities for pedestrian and bike access as well as help develop
community-based projects that could benefit your neighborhood. We
encourage you to attend and invite your friends, family and neighbors!
Feel free to bring the kids too!
All workshop participants will be
entered in a RAFFLE for a chance to win fun Halloween prizes ---
so don’t miss out! Light snacks and refreshments will be
served. Spanish translation will be available.
The National
City SMART Foundation is working together with the Safe Routes to School
Program to enhance awareness and pedestrian/bike safety, as well as improve and
expand walking/biking opportunities in National City.
As we approach the
home stretch on this effort, the community’s participation is more important
than ever so please help us in getting the word out to your colleagues, family,
friends and neighbors in National City. B
