Southern
California CASCWA would like to invite Southern Section Child Welfare
and Attendance Administrators to encourage students who have overcome
adversity to apply for the 2014 Scholarship awards. These
college scholarship awards of $500 are given to recognize and promote those
students who have had challenges during their educational career but have
persevered to complete their high school education with some involvement from
the Child Welfare and Attendance office.
Deadline for
applications is April 24. Scholarship information is available at cascwa.org or you may find the link at:
Winners will be
invited to the Lillie Wilson CASCWA luncheon on June 6 at 12:00 p.m. in
Buena Park to receive their awards. Scholarships are funded through CASCWA
membership and Legal Books Distributing.
