Scripps offers the Volunteer Program to students Ages 15 and older with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, no exceptions!
Summer is soon approaching, during this time many students are interested in applying for the program. Because the Volunteer Program is an application process and not an automatic sign up, it can be a lengthy process. For this reason, I encourage students to apply as soon as possible. There is a limited amount of openings, therefore not all applicants will be granted an opportunity for an interview or a position due to the amount of applications the program receives. In order to allow interested students ample time to complete the necessary forms and submit the application for consideration, I am requesting you print and post this flyer were you see is most appropriate. In addition, feel free to use any other means of relaying the attached flyer (e.g. morning school broadcast, e-mail, mail, etc.).
Student must turn in:
1. Counselor Approval Form
2. Application (fully completed including references)
Deadline for application submission for summer program consideration is Monday, April 18, 2016.
**Incomplete applications will not be considered*
