The SUHI counselors have developed a 6-week series of classes for
parents of 11th and 12thgrade students.
They are covering everything from
personal/social issues, internet safety, parenting skills, and helping their
child fulfill the dream of attending and being successful at a university or
post-secondary option. The classes began November 5th and go through December
17th in the library from 8-10am.
Our first meeting was a success,
we had about 30 parents attending. We hope that working together with our
parents will lead to a stronger partnership in order to help our students
succeed.
Here is Mr. Smith and Mr. Tran presenting to the parents!
