The National City Library has an immediate need for volunteers to assist with a three week inventory conversion project. During that period, staff and volunteers will be removing the existing security tags from library lending materials, affixing new tags to the materials and scanning the new tags into the computer tracking system.
Project dates: Monday through Friday, December 15, 2014 through January 3, 2015 (except December 24, 25 and January 1).
Hours: Project hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The hours for each volunteer are flexible based on availability.
Students seeking community service hours creditable towards graduation are encouraged to volunteer.
To volunteer, applicants must be 151/2 years or older.
