The UC San Diego Student Chapter
of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) would like to encourage your female
students to register for Envision 2019.
Envision is an annual, free
all-day program that educates high school girls about career possibilities in
engineering and computer science. The day’s program will include guest speakers
from academia, hands-on computer science and engineering activities, and a
project team fair at the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering. There will also be
a short program for parents to help prepare their children for college that is
also free and separate from the student program. We encourage all families to
attend; parent sign ups are included in the student sign ups.
Envision will be held on Saturday,
February 2nd 2019, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
