Wellness Wednesday: Get Organized

Happy Wellness Wednesday!

Did you know January is get organized month? Here is a great monthly home organization calendar and checklist. Yet, is keeping tidy always the best bet to keeping us less stressed? Perhaps there’s a downside to keeping organized?

Self-Care:
Every time you get up from your desk or walk through a room, put away five things. At the end of the day, you’ll find your space so much more tidy!

Kindness Challenge:
Compliment ten people before noon (on their clothes, smile, anything you can think of!)

Affective Statement:
I am feeling distracted by…

We invite you to encourage students to visit our Wellness Room in the counseling center room in office 141 if they need to de-stress and decompress. Please have students check in with a counselor before using the Wellness Room. Typically, we have students use the Wellness Room for no longer than 15 minutes at a time to report back to class ASAP.

To spread the good news of our wellness efforts, please use the hashtag #BeWellRedDevils in sharing your Wellness Wednesday activities.
