Wellness Wednesday: Be Wise and Confident

Happy Wellness Wednesday Red Devils!

Today's quote says: “No one who achieves success does so without the help of others. The wise and confident acknowledge this help with gratitude.” – Alfred North Whitehead

Think about your journey through distance learning and the stay-at-home orders because of Covid-19. Who has helped you get through these times? Who has been helpful to you? Take time today to say thank you to that person. Because of that person you have been able to be the best version of you, despite the challenges you have faced.

Self-Care Tip:
In your gratitude journal, write about someone you are grateful for and why. If you don't have a gratitude journal, use the "notes" app in your phone. I have heard of others who put a calendar reminder on their phone every day with the subject "What are you grateful for today?". They then answer the question on that same calendar entry - thus becoming a digital gratitude journal.

Kindness Challenge:
Leave a thank you note, letter, or text for someone you are grateful for today.

Virtual Wellness Room

Please visit our Virtual Wellness Room to take a break from your online classes. Do some breathing exercises, stretch, or play a game. It's OK to take a time out in the middle of the day for a "brain break".
