“COOKING WITH CHEFS” RETURNS SEPTEMBER 13 REGISTER NOW!!!

Chefs de Cuisine is San Diego’s oldest and largest chef organization and sponsors “Cooking With Chefs” to foster healthy eating among local youth. Recipes, ingredients, and instructional videos are distributed to 150 students at 12 schools in the Sweetwater Union High School District at no cost to parents or schools.

Sweetwater serves the cities of Chula Vista, National City, and Imperial Beach which have the county’s highest rates of childhood obesity, diabetes, and related diseases. “Cooking With Chefs” exposes students to the joys and benefits of healthy eating and aims to improve the wellbeing of current and future generations. 

Twice monthly, when school is in session, Chefs de Cuisine purchases, packages, and delivers recipe kits to school drop-off sites for parental pick up. At home, families watch demonstration videos and cooks delicious, healthy dishes together.
