The Early Academic Outreach Program and TRIO Outreach Programs at UC San Diego are excited to continue to provide their flagship event Comienza con un Sueño / It Begins with a Dream in a virtual format this year. Our annual in-person event has reached up to 1,500 students, parents and guardians, and community leaders in previous years and has a history of over 13 years greatly impacted the lives of many participants.
This FREE event will take place Saturday March 5, 2022 from 9am to 12pm and is open to ALL 6-12th grade students, their parents and/or guardians, educators, and college access advocates. Workshops will be offered in English and Spanish on a variety of topics covering admissions, financial aid, housing dining and hospitality, campus resources, Greek life, the UC San Diego student experience, parent tips and resources, career paths, athletics and more.
