San Diego County of Education Presents 5th Annual San Diego Black College Expo

We are pleased to invite juniors and seniors of all racial and ethnic backgrounds to attend the Black College Expo on Feb. 17 in San Diego through the San Diego County Office of Education's (SDCOE) partnership with the National College Resources Foundation.

The Black College Expo features historically black colleges and universities with on-the-spot college scholarships and acceptances awarded to qualifying students. Some college application fees may also be waived. There will be informational seminars on financial aid, information for student athletes, and other helpful seminars. The in-person expo will be from noon to 5 p.m. in the MLK Center at Bayview Baptist Church, 6134 Pastor Timothy Winters St. in San Diego. Parents are also encouraged to attend.

What to bring: Students should bring with them several copies of their transcripts as well as ACT or SAT scores if they have them. There will be computers and printers available for counselors and other staff members to assist students if additional documents are needed.

All attendees will be asked to follow the facility’s COVID-19 safety protocols, which include wearing masks and temperature checks upon entry.
