We are pleased to announce that San Diego South County C.A.B.E (California Association for Bilingual Educators) Chapter 65 is once again awarding scholarships to college-bound high school seniors graduating in Spring of 2021.
The CABE65 scholarship supports multilingual students who are determined to further their education by pursuing a college degree. A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one senior from each high school in the Sweetwater Union School District and South County charter high schools.
We would greatly appreciate your support to encourage high school seniors to complete an application if they meet the following criteria :
o Bilingual/Multilingual (speak, read and write in a language other than English - Seal of Biliteracy preferred, but not required)
o Overall G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher
o Expressed financial need o Accepted by and committed to attending two-year or four-year college in the fall of 2021
